Water
Drink a minimum of one and a half liters of water a day to remove waste from the body.
Chlorine water
A few laps in chlorine water is a great method to ease the pain of hives and to reduce swelling.
Ginger
Let a thick piece of ginger boil in a bowl of water and then pour the contents into your bath water. If you stay in this for at least 30 minutes, you will undoubtedly feel better. Ginger can also be taken as a dietary supplement to relieve you of your hives.
Cold compress
The application of a cold compress reduces the pain and itching associated with allergic reactions. Below are a few more natural treatments to enrich cold compresses.
Oatmeal and corn starch
Mix two cups of oatmeal with three teaspoons of corn starch and a little water until you get a thick paste. Cover the hives and leave for at least half an hour. Then rinse.
Apple cider vinegar
Soak a cotton ball or wrap in apple cider vinegar and place it on the humps of the hives. If necessary, stick the compress with a little adhesive tape so that you can continue your daily activities while the apple cider vinegar does its work. Apple cider vinegar reduces itching and brings the pH of the skin back into balance.
Aloe vera
Aloe vera repairs the skin and therefore hives no less than seven times faster than normal. Moreover, it penetrates all skin layers. So it is a good idea to apply the aloe vera gel to the bumps at least twice a day. It will also reduce itching and pain.
Grapefruit seed extract
Put a few drops of grapefruit seed extract in a teaspoon of olive oil. Massage the body part with allergic reactions.
Essential oil of lavender
Another soothing and natural treatment against allergic reactions and hives is essential oil of lavender. This oil can be applied directly to the bumps.
